Workflow: Quorum

Quorums can be configured on a status within the Workflow screen. To set up quorum properly user should set two settings:

  1. Quorum condition
  2. Quorum

1. Quorum condition

When configuring a quorum two options are available:

  • One quorum must be met
  • All quorums must be met

This option simply dictates many tasks must be completed before a form can change its status.

Example

The Quorum condition is set to "One quorum must be met" which means:

- The form will change its status to 'Approved' when only one task is completed ('Approve it' or 'Confirm it') or

- will change status to 'Rejected' when the 'Reject it' task is completed.

Alternatively, if the Quorum condition was set to "All quorums must be met" this would mean:

- The form will change its status to 'Approved' when all tasks (leads to one status) are completed ('Approve it' and 'Confirm it') or

- will change status to 'Rejected' when the 'Reject it' task is completed.

2. Quorum

Set into a Task property.

This simply dictates how many people are required to complete a task.

Example

The "Submit it" task won't be completed and a form will not change status from 'Draft' to 'Submitted' until two people have completed the "Submit it" task. In the Sintel Forms Viewer users can see how many people need to complete a given task, to whom the task is assigned, and who has already completed it.
